Salihath Group of Educational Institutions, situated in the thonse west coast of Karnataka, stands tall as a premier institute of learning in Udupi.
Thonse is a tiny hamlet on the shores of the Arabian Sea in the west coast of Karnataka with more than 60% if Muslim population and no proper institution for Muslims girls to pursue secondary and higher education. To overcome this problem the MOHAMMADIA EDUCATIONAL TRUST® started this Salihath group of Educational Institutions. At the beginning during 1972 partially started Anjuman Taalimate Mohammadia Madarasa. In this Madarasa student are gaining Islamic knowledge. In 1994 it established Salihath Arabic College for Girls (Jamiya), this course includes 2 years Islamic Education along with one year Dawah Training. In the same year established Nursery Classes for small children above 3 years. In the Academic year 1996-97 established Salihath Kannada Medium High School for Girls. In the year 1997-98 started Salihath English Medium Primary and High School. We established Salihath P.U.College for Girls in the academic year 2009-10 for the convenience of Girl student for further Education.
The Institution continuously engaged to achieve its objectives. Imparting quality education with Islamic perspective to the Muslim children, which today an important task. MOHAMMADIA EDUCATIONAL TRUST® started ‘SALIHATH GROUP OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS’ which is recognized by the Government of Karnataka & unaided School/College being run by self-support without any monetary assistance from the Government. Admission is not based on conditional donations. This Institution has survived, So far in spite of severe upheavals particularly in finance. Owning to partial fee concession. As a result, budget is enormously affected.
